When The Enemy Comes In Like A Flood.

When The Enemy Comes In Like A Flood.

“So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah‬ ‭59:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Let the Lord raise up a standard in your life. When the enemy tries to come into your life, choose to let Christ raise up His Standard. In fact, according to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for, “Standard” is, ‘nuwc’ (H5127) which means, “To flee, to escape, to take flight, depart, disappear, to fly (to the attack) on horseback, to put to flight, to drive hastily.” Let God put the enemy to flight. Let God cause the enemy to flee. Let God drive away your enemy hastily. Put on God’s entire armor and let His Word cause the enemy to flee.

Isaiah‬ ‭59:19‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ declares, “So [as the result of the Messiah's intervention] they shall [reverently] fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives].”

Let the Lord intervene in your circumstance. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight.

Floods may come, storms may rise — but God’s Standard remains the same. His armor is Sure. His Word lasts forever.

Nothing can defeat Him. No one can dethrone Him. Put on His armor. Be led by God’s unchanging Word and let Christ fight your battles.

Action:

When the enemy comes, don’t panic. Choose to surrender to His Word. Let Christ lead your heart. Surrender to God’s Way of doing things and let Christ crush your enemies.

Guard Your Heart.

 Guard Your Heart.

Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.” Proverbs‬ ‭4:23‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Keep, guard and protect your heart with His Word. Remind yourself daily of His Principles and Ordinances. Set your heart on Christ. Set your affections on Him. Let your heart crave the things of Christ. Crucify the flesh and surrender to Christ in every area of your life.

There’s a difference between guarding your heart and hardening your heart. When you’re actively keeping and guarding your heart — you are making a conscious decision to yield to the Word of God.

When your heart is hardened — you are choosing to respond to the cares of this world out of your own strength. Fear will harden your heart. Fear will entangle your heart. Fear will keep you in bondage. Choose to cast your cares upon Christ.

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” Choose to cast your cares, fears, worries and anxieties upon the Lord. Release your burdens over to Christ. Don’t let the weight of the world weigh you down. Put on His armor and give your burdens over to Him.
